Each year, JCI members from around the globe come together at JCI international events. JCI European Conference is the organization’s annual European meeting, which gathers over 2,000 delegates on-site.

The 2011 JCI European Conference will be held in the city of Tarragona from 1 to 4 June 2011. JCI Catalonia will organize this Conference.

At this event, young active citizens and leaders from all around the world meet, learn and choose the future projects of the entity; they unite to share experiences, learn through training and form intercultural connections. These international forums enable us to find new ways to take action in our local communities and show our commitment to socially responsible leadership.

During the JCI European Conference delegates have the unique opportunity to discuss issues of global concern; attend training courses and seminars on subjects such as leadership, development, economics, conflict resolution, social responsibility and climate change; attend the organization’s annual European General Assembly; as well as network and enjoy a variety of cultural and leisure activities.
